Why should you choose a B&B near Killarney?
Killarney is one of the most popular tourist towns in Ireland. Beaufort is just 11km from Killarney but a million miles away from the hustle and bustle.
This means you get to enjoy the best of both worlds. Our 9-bedroom B&B which is close to Killarney town has panoramic views of the Gap of Dunloe and Macgillycuddy’s Reeks. These mountains boast three of Ireland’s highest peaks including Carrauntoohil, Ireland’s highest mountain. Read more detailed information about Beaufort in the location section of our website.
Why should I choose Inveraray Farm?
There are many reasons to choose Inveraray Farm. From its location to the fact it’s a well-established family business and, not least, because of the delicious breakfasts that will keep you going for your day of exploring.
If you need some more convincing read some of our guest reviews.
One of the first things you’ll notice when you arrive at the house are the beautifully-kept grounds. Eileen and Noel are both keen gardeners and maintain both a kitchen garden, ensuring plenty of fresh produce, and a beautiful, award-winning, rose garden.
The B&B has 10 bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. The majority have views of either the Gap of Dunloe, or the gardens with Lough Leane in the background. Some also have their own private entrances so you can come and go as you please
We serve a delicious breakfast daily between 0745 and 0930. Enjoy steaming hot porridge, fresh fruit and pancakes, a cooked Irish breakfast and more. Fresh orange juice, pots of fresh tea and coffee, toast with homemade jam and Irish soda bread are also included. We are happy to cater for people with special dietary requirements such as vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs. Please let us know at the time of booking where possible.
Inveraray Farm has a Silver Award for Green Tourism. We place a big emphasis on striving towards a sustainable, environmentally-friendly business. We encourage our guests to recycle, drink tap water and minimise waste where possible.
Over the years we’ve realised that most guests prefer to bring their own toiletries. From an environmental point of view we are delighted as it cuts down on the waste of single use items. We provide handwash in all of the bathrooms but, if you do arrive without toiletries or you find that you’ve forgotten something we can provide most things. There is also a local shop where you can purchase a variety of toiletries.
