Why should you choose a B&B near Killarney?

Killarney is one of the most popular tourist towns in Ireland. Beaufort is just 11km from Killarney but a million miles away from the hustle and bustle.
This means you get to enjoy the best of both worlds. Our has panoramic views of the Gap of Dunloe and Macgillycuddy’s Reeks. These mountains boast three of Ireland’s highest peaks including Carrauntoohil, Ireland’s highest mountain. Read more detailed information about Beaufort in the location section of our website.

Why should I choose Inveraray Farm?

There are many reasons to choose Inveraray Farm. From its location to the fact it’s a well-established family business and, not least, because of the delicious breakfasts that will keep you going for your day of exploring.

If you need some more convincing read some of our guest reviews.

The B&B has 10 bedrooms, 9 of which have ensuite bathrooms. The exception is our Budget Double Room. This has a separate bathroom directly across the hallway which is only for the use of the occupants. As a bonus this room probably has the best view of all. The majority of our bedrooms enjoy views of either the Gap of Dunloe, or of the gardens with Killarney’s mountains in the background. Several also have their own private entrances so you can come and go as you please.

Although we try to allocate specific rooms if requested we can’t always guarantee them. We reserve the right to move other guests to specific rooms if their need is deemed greater (e.g. due to a mobility issue).

Inveraray Farm has a Silver Award for Green Tourism. We place a big emphasis on striving towards a sustainable, environmentally-friendly business. We encourage our guests to recycle, drink tap water and minimise waste where possible.

Over the years we’ve realised that most guests prefer to bring their own toiletries. From an environmental point of view we are delighted as it cuts down on the waste of single use items. We provide handwash in all of the bathrooms but, if you do arrive without toiletries or you find that you’ve forgotten something we can provide most things. There is also a local shop where you can purchase a variety of toiletries.
